i still want to know where did you make your flashing name sig...
Fucking PAINT.
Just make a black background and write your name with the Text tool in a colour other than black (obviously).
Unfortunately, if you chose red, it'd colour it red but use all different shades so what you need to do is zoom in and make sure all of each letter is the same shade. This can take about 10 mins if you're doing a 5 letter word or something. You'll need to do each letter a different colour and then save it as a .bmp image as "1" or something. (saving as bmp is important)
Then just re-paint each letter the next colour in the chain (you'll need to choose the colours you want to use before hand) and then save it as "2".
Then just keep "moving" the colours along until you've used them all and got back to the beginning and saved each one individually.
Then just use a GIF animator to cycle the images and save as .gif.
Might sound like a hard job but it only takes 15 mins really.
