LOL, yeah, I know. Couldn't be bothered to reduce it any more because it would become impossible to merge with the rest of the hair without having to do loads of cloning around. I didn't make the skin tones match either. Just a quick edit really.

the technique is simple, you adjust the RGB of the pic that you want to edit. go to image>adjustments
the most useful are Levels , Curves, Color Balance, Hue Saturation
you have to experiment with them,
some times the images that you want to combine have completely different light
in that case you will have to use your artistic skills and redraw it
