I learned that by myself. You just need to know the "basics" of the tools etc. in Photoshop.

First I selected the face-area and desaturated it a bit and then adjusted the lighting/contrast/levels so that it would look white.

Then I started to "paint" (w/ burn tool) around the eyes and lips etc. to make them black.

That's the rough description of the job. You can do some contrast/level/saturation/hue adjustings to the who pic too. Just whatever to make it look realistic enough.
