Easy now...

Give us a recap when you get back. I like to contrast and compare Ozzfest experiences...Did Phil ramble? Did Judas Priest own everyone again?

Have a good one please my me you beneficary cause the Wall of Death will KILL YOU Priest did own the show.... and When i saw Preist and Anthrax... Anthrax fucking Killed..... That was the Day of the infamous Tuck rule in New England... the Raiders Got screwed again

Fuckin' awesome good time. Only downside to the day was spending $35 for a Slayer shirt just to fuckin' lose it (and I'm sober!!!????) GGRRRR! Rained here and there but was nothing compared to if I was baking in the sun all day. LOG didn't do the wall of death. I was one person off the fence anyways and was ready for it. Throwdown did however call everyone in the back to "pit" an after they didn't he asked everyone up front on the count of three to "turn around and take the pit to them". AND THEY DID! I stayed on the fence unitl LOG was over then sort of rested up/walked around/got ripped off until main stage. Also, we missed Devildriver. Why the fuck would they play second (so early)? Darkest Hour was my favorite second stage band. Atreyu was cool too.
Yeah, ol' Phil was his ol' self. "Eat pussy until your jaw breaks". Sporting a mostly shaved noggin. He told Cleveland they were the biggest group of pussies on the whole tour so far. Everyone sort of blew him off but it was weird to see them from the lawn. But they :headbang: . Slayer:worship: :worship: . Opened with God Hates Us All. Added War Ensemble and Mandatory Suicide from a previous setlist seen here. Deleted Hell Awaits and Hallowed Point. Spirit in Black is a killer song. They were tight and just balls out. Sound was awesome. I still can't get into Priest. Love their music but they just bore the shit out of me in concert. Sorry! Sabbath was awesome. Best I've ever heard or have seen Ozzy in my experiences. Everyone shoud of played the second stage except Priest and Sabbath. That would have been the shit. On a smaller note, when getting my Summer Sampler CD they ask you for your three favorite bands. I Wonder who I listed all 3X? :tickled: ANTHRAX!!!!!!!!!

LOG didn't do Wall of Death in Wisconsin, either. Sounds like Slayer played the same set there that they played here. I think they switched up 4 songs. Did Sabbath play Sweet Leaf? I know the original setlist I posted had them playing that. Ozzy at one point said that how long they played would depend on how crazy we went for the next song. Maybe we didn't go crazy enough and they skipped it.

Long time since I have been on here, but anywyas.

Cleveland show was a blast. I got to go backstage for the Party Like a Rock Star thing and sat second row. Didn't even realize it rained. SLipknot was kind of fun on second stage. I wish I could have thought about wearing a mask and not doing shit for an hour in a band other than occasionally hitting a drum and acting f'ed up.

Slayer was awesome. I wanted to hear Payback, but they skipped it. They did play Stain of Mind and Bloodline which was cool. I jumped into the front and some cockhead bouncer made me go back to my seat. I wanted to kill him, but I figured they'd blame the music for messing me up so i decided not to. I met their guitar tech before the show and took his picture while he was tuning their guitars. He gave me a guitar pick before I took off. I also got my picture taken with Jeff Hanneman. THat was cool.

Priest definitely owned over Sabbath. I caught a drumstick to add to the small collection.

Phil was a shithead. He got away from talking so much at one point and he seems to be back into that mode again.

OZZY was able to remember all the lines and they sounded pretty good. He's just soooo fried overall.

All in all--great time.

I don't have any Slayer cd's after decade of decadence. Now those are all gone too except for D.O.D. and the River's Edge soundtrack. Saw Bloodline video, which had won Metal video of the year(?) I did have Dissedent of Agression(?) the hardcore covers. That was awesome but now gone. Which , if any, should I purchase and which one first. Might need a new thread I don't know!!!!!

Out of the last few albums, I think God Hates US ALL is by far the best. It is heavy and angry and nasty and it's just awesome. From Disciple to Bloodline, to Exile, all the way to Payback. I love the album.

If all you have are D.O.D. and the soundtrack, pick up Reign in Blood, South of Heaven and Seasons in the Abyss. Also, Divine Intervention is the best post D.O.D. album, IMO.
