Ozzy keeps cancelling.....

I'm sure most of you here know, but Black Sabbath has been off the bill three times now in a week at Ozzfest - "Illness in the band." Translated - Ozzy. I'm a huge Sabbath fan, huge (and an even bigger Maiden fan, so if they cancel in my area that's fine, longer Maiden set) but this is getting a little funny. I see posts on Blabbermouth all the time about how Ozzy should hang it up, and I think I'm finally inclined to agree. Either that or schedule a more agreeable touring slate, a few nights a week. Again, if they cancel here, fine, more Maiden. But it is Ozzfest for cripes sake, and it seems to me that the last few years there have been cancellations like this. Further, I feel for the people who are seeing the Velvot Revolver dates, since if Sabbath cancels then, they will be the headline, and that's not too damned metal.

Ah well.

Yep Sabbath canceled my show here but oh well. I got to see a little more Maiden

yeah, i'm not going until Sept 2nd in Charlotte. Hopefully, he'll be good to go that night .... I haven't even got Maiden to look forward to .... Velvet Revolver instead

I basically abhors the Ozzpest, it represents all that is bad and rotten with music industry and false metal. I'm very surprised that bands like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden ever consider to show there, but I guess moneytalks everywhere.

I will LOVE to see Black Sabbath original line-up live, because I couldn't on their heyday, then again to see a bad show because Ozzy is unfit I rather go with memories on CD.

I thought this was one of the best ozzfests I've seen in years but that's just my
opinion.

The last one I went to was absolutely horrible. It ranks as the single worst concert experience in my life. It wasn't the bands, it was the venue. Too many rules. It was over 90 degrees and no one was allowed to take anything in including blankets and umbrellas and coolers and basically anything you couldn't hide in the crack of your ass. Nine fucking dollars for a drink to keep cool after waiting in line for an hour to get it. No sunscreen and they weren't selling any. The sunburn knocked me out of work for four days.

Yeah a guy at work was telling me about it today. He went last weekend in INDY. He said Maiden was the only band worth seeing..but that it sucked waiting all day and in to the night for one band. He said it was worthless because of sitting through 12 hours of shit to get to one or two good bands. Also, Sabbath cancelled and he was pissed about that.

It is well known thast ozzy can't sing anymore. and know he cant spaz on stage now! owell maybe Dio should come back to sabbath....
well at least maiden is going. nad we can see them before they hang it up which is very soon

I'm glad they kicked off Ozzfest in Mass...Because Black Sabbath were
the best band that night!! Please don't read into this like me pouring salt on an open wound....Those of you who didn't get to see them I feel for you if that was your reason for going (Like it was mine) This could very well be Ozzy's last tour whether he likes it or not!!
