Sounds like Sharon's handywork.

From a recent interview with Classic Rock Mag:
Well, Im getting a new guitar player as we speak, said Ozzy, and everyone has been saying to me for a long time, Get Johnny 5! And I tried him at one time and I didnt really give him a chance. Well see, I dont know. I havent fallen out with Zakk, but Zakks got his own band, and I felt like my stuff was beginning to sound like Black Label Society. I just felt like I wanted a change, yknow?
Ive got a guy from Greece coming in not the musical, the country of Greece but Im not going to say too much about it, cos I dont know myself at this point. Ive got a new album, Im working on it as we speak. Ive got a studio at my house and Ive got a guy called Kevin Churko, the guy that did the last album [Churko also worked on Ozzys Under Cover album, produced Cheap Tricks highly rated 2006 album Rockford, and has credits on releases by Britney Spears, Celine Dion and Shania Twain] hes great to work with.
This is definitely a good thing! Ozzy's records sound like a shell of what they used to be. Granted the man can barely speak let alone sing anymore, but he is a legend nonetheless and change can be a good thing. But really, if he's still working with a glorified pop producer how much change will we really see? I predict this will just be an extremely accessible rock record that adults who have no interest in heavy metal could get into. Either way, I'm definitely curious to hear what the Ozzman comes up with.Well, Im getting a new guitar player as we speak, said Ozzy, and everyone has been saying to me for a long time, Get Johnny 5! I haven't heard anything about this. Until I talk to the Boss I don't know. I love Ozzy.
I'm doing Blizzcon with him in August and supposed to finish up the cd in September
.this is news to me
What are the chances that Zakk was so drunk when Ozzy told him that he can't remember? Or, that Ozzy just decided to replace Zakk during the interview he was giving? Either way, seems like there is some trouble there. We will continue following this story as it progresses.
