I saw you browsing Billy Milanos board. Find any interesting reading there?

No actually.
I was bored out of my mind, Ineeded to wait 3 hours for something...
finally I don't have assignments or homework and I'm
meeting my friends later, and I am sooooooo bored,
and I saw on the main UM list a thread called:
"I really really hated Crash" on the Billy Milano board,
I've heard so many mixed reviews about it, so I wanted to check that thread out about that movie.
thanks for asking though.
other than that thread, I didn't find anything interesting there, no,
but then again, I didn't really look.

My girlfriend told me about it and it sounded pretty cool. It was REALLY good, definately worth the rent, IMO.

my friend who is obsessed with movies said that it was good but not amazing or anything when he was talking about the oscars and stuff. i'll probably watch it if its on tv someday.

OKAY HERE'S THE STORY ABOUT THE MOVIE

IT'S ALL ABOUT RACISM AND RACIAL TOLERANCE
BUT IT'S DONE UP IN SUCH A SPECIFIC WAY THAT THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT I'VE ACTUALLY HEARD COMPLAIN ABOUT IT ARE SOME PEOPLE SPEAKING AS REPRESENTATIVES FOR "BLACK PRIDE" GROUPS AND PEOPLE THAT TOTALLY OPENLY ADMIT TO BEING NEO-NAZIS/KKK/ARYAN BROTHERHOOD

EVERYONE ELSE SAYS IT'S THE BEST MOVIE EVER

I GUESS IT'S KINDA LIKE HOW THE INSANELY HOMOPHOBIC PEOPLE TOTALLY HATED "BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN"

as you noticed, I specified "on this board", so I don't discount all the other posts you made on other boards. Pretty nice from me huh?

THE POSTS I MAKE ON OTHER BOARDS REALLY ARE BETTER THAN THE CRAPINESS OF THE POSTS I PUT HERE
HERE'S JUST FOR FUN
THE OTHER BOARDS I ACTUALLY TRY TO BE INTELIGENT

I didn't think it was "the best movie ever." It was well acted and well constructed, though given the talent attached to it, no big surprise. The message was delivered with the typical sort of heavy-handedness that keeps similar movies (American History X) in the "good but not great" category. Also, my roommate spotted 'plot surprise A' early in the film which sort of ruined the impact of one of the major climactic scenes later.

I actively avoid reading movie reviews. I can usually tell what movies I am going to see in the theater, which is almost none. Too expensive, so unless it is something I am really interested in seeing, I wait and rent it. Rental is so cheap I tend to go in once every 2-3 months and grab 6 or so movies that I thought might be interesting but passed seeing in theatres.

SOME OF THE VERSIONS OF "WHITE MAN'S BURDEN" WERE BETTER
