Paramore drum clone

just some random beats using a Paramore kit i cloned from riot.
thought some of you guys might find this cool lol,
took me a long time to put this whole kit together.

it also works well with blast beats!

Interesting.. how'd you get all the drums? And the cymbals are off the album too yeah?

There are quite a few weird things.. cymbals cutting out, the snare drum sort of goes centre then runs to the right then runs back to the left before decaying. I don't think anyone has posted the toms yet, and while I personally can't stand them, it'd still be interesting to have a listen to them, if you could upload the samples?

ahh ur right about the snare i didnt notice that, i can fix that though.

yeah every single sample is from the album

roughly (multi samples wise)

6 x kicks
5 x snare
3 x hats/cymbals
2 x toms

the problem with the cymbals sounding very gated is because its a short sample
i couldnt capture a full cymbal hit but im working on belnding the attack of the paramore cymbal with one of my own for a full hit.

um, you may want to try panning the open hi hats and closed hi hats to the same position, like the beat at 0:26

The drums on Riot! do sound robotic, but they sure as hell sound awesome.

you'll get close to the paramore sound WITHOUT sounding
too static.

I guess it's just the difference between hearing them in context with everything else and hearing them solo'd.

aye ok I will, give us a day or 2 as im real busy the now but i promise ill upload em.

ill skip the cymbals cause seriously there barely useable

also the toms r very poor but the snare n kicks alone r friggin nice.

if u intend using em, ur best bet is to record a kit and maybe do a 50/50 split
trigger using the kicks n snare!

I may be in the minority but I prefer the drums (and just about everything else) on Brand New Eyes. Been meaning to sample that snare for a while now.
