Hail to Elrickh, Estee, and all the Chuuls lost in UM!
This concert was excellent. Mikael demonstrated his mastery of the french language...("baises-moi!")
i got to talk a lot with Peters' childhood friend Anders who was selling Opeth's paraphernalia and he confirmed to me that the next album should be somewhat of "Pure Evil" material....looking forward to that. He also told me that Opeth almost never rehearse, Mike often writes his lyrics in a flash and that they never had any argument since they started playing (yeah, once, he said, just a door slamming, then a couple of beers and back to recording hehe)
Also I talked to Mike, Peter, and the two Martins after the show (and thanks a lot Elrickh for the pics
) these guys are just so natural, modest and simple it's downright scary, and it made me feel less nervous chatting with them.
They said see you in a year and a half, so it's time for me to prepare for a long hibernation.
