Wondering if anybody else has ever had problems with exiting at night after the show? Like.. leaving around 1 or so a.m.? I'm trying to figure out where to park next year, as I don't really want to risk issues at the law school again, but if others have never had an issue maybe I'll consider going there again as its very convenient and inexpensive.

For those wondering, he's referring to the John Marshall Law School, which is up the hill a bit from the venue and then a left-turn from W. Peachtree Street. The fact that John Marshall of Metal Church (and briefly, Metallica) has his own law school is one of those little things that make life that much more interesting. :)

I've parked there a few times and don't recall any problems getting out, but that wouldn't have been on one of the laaaaaaate nights (Fri. and Sat.) since by then, I've picked up my hotel room by then. I'm pretty sure I've departed by 1am (as opposed to 2 and 3am, after Evergrey headlining, etc. :)) with no problems, though.

One of the nights I parked there last year my exit code didn't work. I finally called the numbers on the ticket (and this is like at 2 or 3 AM) and got ahold of John Marshall himself. His instructions to me (no joke!) were to take apart the arm that blocked the exit which was being held together with screws that were only hand tightened.

Priceless!

"Uh, might I get in trouble for vandalizing YOUR parking gate?"

"Relax! We can probably scare up a lawyer for you around here somewhere...."

Thursday night?

A couple of us.. had to umm.. lift the gate while the car drove under...

There was zero hassle at the dance school, right next to the venue. I slept there all night in my van, but could have left and come back at any time. No gates.
