Question:

How long can cars be at the lots at the venue? I read they're not run by them so...if we go to hang at the Artmore till 5 am or whatever, I fear we may be booted. I saw a car today near Hard Rock in a pay lot booted and thought of that.

Now i might be wrong about this, but if i can remember, when you buy you parking ticket it has a time on it, and i want to say that is last for 24 hours, but each parking lot should have its policy listed somewhere in it.

The venue parking is flat rate and its open 24-hrs. The Law School around the corner is not, so if you're going to stay there, move the car. There are a couple of lots up on P'tree, one is open on weekends the others are paid by the hour.

I could be wrong about this, but I'd imagine that if you're staying at one of the nearby hotels (Artmore, Residence Inn, Super 8, Marriott Suites, Courtyard Marriott, W, and I'm sure I'm forgetting one within walking distance), you're better off parking at the hotel and walking to the venue/Artmore. It's probably cheaper, its much more convenient, and you don't need to worry about anything.

Here's some info from an old thread that may be helpful: "The Venue parking is the single most expensive in the area. The closest, cheapest, and covered parking is under the Law School 1/2 block past the Center Stage. Turn left on 18th st. It's half the cost of the venue parking and very convenient... I believe it's $15 to park there." http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/progpower-usa/523306-parking.html

I've had good luck parking there, but as Lara said, there could be an issue if you're parked there wayyyyy late. As I recall, though, the gates will open when you exit, even after hours.

I love how they reallllly don't promote the parking deck undernearth their own building. :)
