I really dig this cd. The production has me weirded out tho. I cant find a good spot in my EQ for this cd!
In Reverse sounds like a track that didnt make it onto RtR but the rest of the cd rocks. I Die Slowly is my favorite so far!

ive heard the odd track, sounds prety cool cant compare to the jestar race or whoracle etc... but what the fuck can

I like passenger, I bought that cd not long ago at Virgin megastore in paris, it was in the nu-metal section, hahaha! anyway I'd listened to the album long ago, downloaded from evil-peer2peers, and since i digged it so much I just thought i'd make a good action towards Century Media Records :p
Not once have I ever compared it to other In Flames music, after i heard "In Reverse" I knew it was very different from the usual swedish thrash metal we all know. And at my opinion, it's even better sounding than the usual nu-metal shit from USA. At least it sounds "happy" in the melodies, arent we so sick of depressed pre-teen social problems/syndromes in popular sorts of metal?
And yes, Anders has a good voice on that album, so it really sounds like it's his own project as the vocals are pro-eminent in the production. I guess that's where you could have some trouble equalizing it - haha!

So ok, it's normal if most people on the forum dont like Passenger, since a priori most of you kids listen to metal, and only metal, just metal, nothing else :loco:

I say cheers for Andy Fridén, he dares to push the frontiers of music not restraining to a genre.

Indeed. Its different so alot of people will say its crap and Anders isnt into metal.
I dont consider it to be nu metal, but alot of the songs can definitly be played on the radio here.
I think its a damn good cd. If others dont, thats fine.

It's nothing too bad, to be honest... I don't know if I'm looking forward to Passenger having a long lasting career, but it was nice to hear something a bit different out of Anders.

Honestly you could do a lot worse than Passenger.

Everything needs EQ. Otherwise it comes out flat and muddy. If you DONT have an EQ on your stereo its not very good. Every cd is mixed differently. Tell me the bass is the same on RtR as Rust In Peace by Deth. You need to adjust the EQ otherwise it will sound like shit. Which by your reply, yours probably does.
