Hello there,

I lately asked few question about reamping. I wanna thank you all for your answers. I helped me a lot.

Now, I would like to know which passive DI boxes are working in reverse for reamping. so i can get one of the cheapest 'cause im broke :goggly:

Just post the name of the model over here if you want to.

Thanx,

cheers.

PS : i was thinking, what about making a REAMPING FAQ somewhere. Because if you search the forum, there are a lot of posts about this topic, and the same questions are asked and answered in differents places.......

ANY of the passive Di-boxes can be used in reverse for reamping

re-amp doesnt want you to obviously, but yes you can.
Ive used a radial jdi on about every project for the last year. they explain it in the manual when you buy it, but they dont advertise it that way because they have their own reamping items to sell.
people have been reamping stuff since they first started multi-track recording and until someone invented the "reamp" they used DI's

and if you want to get technical about it and look at the schematic all a reamp is is a DI with an attenuator on it.
