Patching to rear inputs of your Rack

Hey dudes,


My setup consists of two separate Live and Control rooms, with a Multicore From my live room connected directly to my preamps in a Rack in the control room.

Im tired of getting behind the rack to connect inputs to preamps when tracking vocals or DI Splits. I want to be able to have a direct Patch point from the front of my rack without physically changing XLR connections or dedicating Preamps for front access.

Does anybody know of any 19" units which will essentially give me a A/B switch between two XLR Connections (front and Back Panel of my Rack)

Sounds like you need a patch bay.

The Entire time i was writing this i was thinking the same thing hahah

So XLR patch bay seems the go. Dumb of me to not think of that earlier.
