Pathfinder MetalFest III - Nov 11th & 12th

Can I get my ticket with plastic or do I need to visit the atm?

Visit an ATM.

(Not that I'm endorsing them, but there happens to be a BoA branch right next to the venue....)

I hope traffic isn't insane...coming from Lawrenceville xD

Yeah, I'm kinda fearing this, too. :bah:

Thanks to SRS Photography for providing sneak peek images from 11-11-11 HERE

Come on out tonight and particpate in no less than 3 separate bands' official video shoot!

and all of you old Atlanta Eclipsed By Sanity fans, get there early (NLT 6:30) for the return of Patrick Hoyt to the stage fronting his new Florida based band CENTRALIA!

raffle drawings will be made for two vinyl prints of the show poster.

an announcement will be made late in the evening concerning the direction of Pathfinder Promotions in 2012.

Don't Miss It!!!

Thanks to Hoyt and all the bands that traveled and the local bands. It was a great weekend in all regards and hope we get another one next year.

Hoyt, as always, you are a class act! You put together an amazing event. All the bands, crew, fans, and friends were an absolute joy to be around. We are honored and humbled to have been a part of this. We hope to do it again soon! Thanks, Hoyt! - Matt

I really hated to miss this. I had to work Friday, and ended up on call for emergencies on Saturday. Other members of my usual party were sick, so none of us got to attend. :(

totally excusable.

pitch some sponsorship (gas money) ideas towards my dad for the next big show and what band you'd really like to see.

we had a lot of fun and would love to come back as finances permit.

The feedback I've heard so far was 100% positive. I'd love to hear a more detailed review/feedback from attendees of the fest. I know Hoyt works his ass off to make this happen, and the result is always a positive experience for everyone. Kudos to him and everyone involved!

As soon as I saw Stephen there with his camera I thought "Cool! There shall be good photos afterward!" :kickass:

Really impressed with all the bands I was able to catch, and picked up CDs by DesDemon, Odin's Court x2, Hephystus and Great Awakening. I also played Great Awakening on WREKage during the overnight; those kids are amazingly good for being 19-22.

here is the first 'detailed' review of the fest from Mark Gromen of BW&BK:

for the record our second guitarist is Latino - not black. Not that there is a problem with anyone being black, I just wanted to make sure the heritage of our second guitarist was corrected.

Our drummer may be a baby face but he will be 21 next week.

I will add, I'm fixing the problem with my short hair because I'm in the process of growing it back out.

I'd also be hard pressed to say Scott is not graying rather he is already gray. I'm sure when he reads this he's gonna kick my ass.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

There is nothing fucking wrong with short hair. DO NOT CONFORM TO EXPECTATIONS. THAT IS NOT METAL.

Gromen's concert reviews tend to focus on the bands' appearance almost as much as the music. I never really understood why.

bands have to try and cover ALL bases as much as possible to 'somewhat' please a critic, especially one that's voice gets spread everywhere.
