Hey guys I'm finally upgrading my PC after six years of never upgrading anything.. Question is about HDD and SSD drive, should I use the SSD to install the OS and DAW and main applications or should I do the opposite? The HDD will be a WD Black. So which method would give me better results?.. Frankly, I was thinking of using the SSD to be the writing disk for DAW and have the DAW and OS installed on the HDD instead.. but I don't know..

Install OS, DAW, Plugins, Samples etc. to the SSD. Faster booting, decreased loading time for plugins, samples and so on..

I don't know if the drive you are writing to matters, but you could always store the projects you're currently using on the SSD and move them to the HDD once they're finished. That's the way I do it :)

Biting the bullet for 16GB RAM so I won't have to upgrade again for the longest time lol
