Peavey 5150 content -Guitarhack (MESA CAB) VS PoidaObi (ENGL CAB)

Had chance today to crank the 5150 up and pit these two excellent impulses against eachother. I thought i should upload the results for you guys as you might be interested to hear. (engl first then mesa)

Both tones are very useful, although I must say I liked the first a little bit more, it wasn't so trebly and I liked the middle's a lot more

hey diblan, what i do is have 2 instances of voxengo pristine space running. One for the cab simulation impulse in this case guitarhacks or petes. I also use eq curves in realtime, which is done by loading the eq curve into revalver (via vox eq curve) and then making an impulse of the EQ curve so i can load it up as my 2nd instance of impulse. (this gets round eq curve latency)

i the first one is a little better, the second one sounds like it has that MP# compression sound(it oculd just be the mp3 compression lol). They would sound good mixed. The mixed one is pretty good.
