Peavey Vyper vs Roland Cube GX

I owned a Cube 60 a few years ago and loved it. I've come to the realization I simply will never be able to afford a tube amp.

After losing my Cube, I bought a Line 6 Spider, hated it.

For mostly metal, should I go with the Vyper or Cube? I know the cubes well, but this Vyper one didn't exists a few years ago.
