I need to be able to adjust the trem arm hex screw under the Floyd of my new guitar and there's no room for that. I would have to drill a hole near the edge of the plastic thing and I'm afraid of the aftermaths like the clear craking/pealing up to the body and not only under the plastic thing.

Would you do this or take off the trem ?
How can I seal it after so that it looks stock ?
:(

That's an H-1007 LTD btw

Serious answer: painter's tape over where you're drilling, then after you're done, a little dab of clear coat with a qtip around the inside rim (job hurrr) and it should be fine. Clear coat will usually sink into other clear coat until it's one layer. Molecules n shit.

Not the same chemical, so no. You'll need the same type if you want it to take properly. Nail clear will probably flake off from vibration after a while.

A can of spray-on clear coat is maybe 5 bucks here. Spray it into the cap, use q-tip.
