On a more serious note, I have a ridiculous amount of respect for Bill Hicks, particularly after reading the biography 'Agent Of Evolution' - the dude really lived what he was saying, and as soon as he found out he had the canker, he went all out to spread his message to people (while still making it funny). Whatever you may think about the validity of his material or his views, you can't help but admire his persistance and dedication.

I'm gonna risk being labelled an Opeth fanboy here too, but what the fuck - I really admire Mikael Akerfeldt. I just happen to think he's an outstandingly talented guitarist and songwriter, and if I could write anything half as good as 'The Moor' and 'The Drapery Falls', I'd be a very happy person.
