The "intro" to the song must be one of the best things ever recorded! At first when there's just the sounds of the forest you can almost picture a sunny afternoon in the forest, after a while the flute starts and it's still pretty nice and mellow eventhough there is a hint of sadness in the melody, then all of a sudden the atmosphere grows oppressive and heavy and you can feel the darkness descending from above... and when the guitar and drums finally start up and goes into hyperspeed while the flute still plays the same melody you can't help but go

I want to call attention to the "Hey na na na, hey na naa" bit with female(?) vocals...that part is really sweet. And then the part after that is utterly headbangable and soulful at the same time. Wow.

Yeah, hey na na rules. The other two are "Kuyaviya" and "Unholy Orathania", as I said in the "rate the NM albums" thread. Both are from Goat Horns, dunno if you've heard it. I reckon it's compositionally by far their best work, but you might think otherwise considering it's less guitar-based. Fucking excellent atmosphere though.

I'm from Sweden but I think Weltanshauung means something like "world view"? (As in how you look upon/percieve the world)

Yeah it's world view... and I think it's referring to the same Weltanshaaung(s) that Freud talked smack about -- religion. Although, on the non-cynical side, it could be referring to their own Fascism, which I reckon is their Weltanshaaung...
