Ths Lucifugum is hardly original, but it has its own little charm. I like it for what it is. If the others have more keyboards, I'll definitely check those out.

Haven't listened to NM's Twilightfall quite yet.

i've heard a few songs by tumulus from their split with mock, but as far as i can recall the songs where basically long vapid heathen/viking/folk songs, didn't like it at all

Dude, Tumulus' 'Wodureid' is great. Some songs are straight heathen black metal, and 1 is an instrumental and 1 is a moving folk song with just war drums, a flute and clean male and female vocals that sounds like something that would be played back in those Celtic type days while warriors march to the battle field.

WHat are the songs on the split like?
