Peter Pan?!!?!?!

Hehe, I still have one of the recalled ones in the pantry.

I actually ate a shitload from one of the recalled ones and it did nothing, so I say its still good peanut butter.

Peter Pan PB is ancient. In fact, it's my mom's favorite.
Unlike other popular character-themed foods ( *ahem* Donald Duck ), Peter Pan is excellent.

Eh, Peter Pan has always been my least favorite of the main brands of peanut butter. I've always preferred Skippy or JIF.

But really, all that matters to me in the end is the multitude of CHUNK contained therein.

ok since we are talking about peanut butter here

does any knows this?: we have peanut butter here well...its called Pindakaas(peanutcheese buts its practicly the same thing)

but heres the question they say that peanut butter from the US just REALLY tastes different then here in europe can any confirm this?

Jumbo and Albert Heijn sell both.
Buy. Compare. Judge for yourself.

Ever tried a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?

I don't know about Holland, but over here in the US they sell jars of PB & J mixed. I don't buy them because I am a jelly snob. Fig Jelly for me!

yeah
the american peanut butter has way more synthetic chemicals in it, some people can taste the difference, some people can't
if it tastes different to you, these synthetic chemicals are what you're tasting

in america we have a thing called "hypo-alergenic peanut butter"
it's for people allergic to peanuts
this "hypo-alergenic" peanut butter is a bunch of synthetic chemicals made to look like and taste like "peanut butter", but there's no peanuts in it

some of the people that are NOT allergic to peanuts get really ill when they eat this hypo-allergenic peanut butter, subsequently they won't sell hypo-alergenic peanut butter outside of USA
