Hi all,
New comer in this community, i'm not sure to post this at the right place...
After spending some months reading and learning from you, i finished "my first serious attempt" at recording and mixing.
I'm quite satisfied by this quick mix but there is a "thing" bothering me:
When i listen to it in mono, guitars "disapear" and sound "phasing". Don't really know why and that's why i'm asking your advice.
Here the complete stereo mix: http://soundcloud.com/arkana06/song-01-new-mix08-20120304
Mono excert: http://soundcloud.com/arkana06/song-01-new-mix06-20120304
Guitars have been recorded using the same preset, same amp, same cabinet. I've tried changing cabinet and it didn't resolve this issue.
Gear used:
"Pseudo mastering" done using T-Racks
Any advice and comment are welcome and "needed" (not only for the "phasing problem")
Thanks to all
Phil
