So I guess "Mini-LP sleeve" means "thin little cardboard cover that will disappear once it's on the CD rack"? Is there another version coming?

I know I hate that too... What I do is I put the Cd in a regular Jewel case,(not the thin ones) & cut the front & back of the cardboard & tape it in the Jewel case & I write on the spine what it is.... works for me...:loco:

Unfortunately, I think the mini-lp sleeve is going to be the norm for Phideaux in the future. On his website he mentions that "Doomsday Afternoon" is being re-released in a mini-lp, and any others that sell out will get the same treatment.

Im Sure its a lot Cheaper too.. ( Might be the New Thread for the future):(

I'm not a fan of the cardboard sleeve either, but at least physical copies are finally available. I'm old school, I don't really like downloading my albums.

Bob:

When you see the packaging you will know why. There is cheap cardboard and then there is the sleeves printed by Stoughton. They look exactly like albums as you remembered them from the 60s and 70s only shrunk down. Same thick cardboard stock. Artwork is glued down - just like the good old days. Quite attractive - same concept that I will be using on the new un-named label I'm starting.
