I understand what ya mean, but I don't think Phil's playing really has anything to offer, at least on those 2 songs. It actually turned me off from checking out more Necrophagia, & I'm usually pretty open to give bands another chance even if they make a bad first impression.

I really like the Anselmo guitars on the relevant Necrophagia albums, tbh. So what if he can't shred ? The total Morbid Tales worship commands my utter admiration.
