The only reason I have beef with Phil is that Pantera inspired so many shitty-ass nu-metal bands that are polluting the Earth right now.

I may not enjoy his musical projects, but when it comes to bashing shitty artists, I've got bigger (and more deserving) fish to fry.

Well Black Sabbath inspired more nu-metal bands. Do you hate them too? Keep in mind that they were big influences on Metallica as well, and even Opeth.

I didnt like Reinventing. It seemed like a record that rehashed a lot of their previous stuff. I really enjoyed TGSTK though. That record and everything before that was great.

pantera kicked ass. i think its probably good that they are calling it quits for now though. maybe its best they moved on, but it could be just me.

And phil has been into black metal for like nearly 10 years now. i remember in the home videos and shit he always wore mayhem and darkthrone shirts.

Yeah, now I wonder what Dimbebag Darrel is going to do(pantera guitarist). I think he is a fucking awesome guitarist, he can do some crazy shit. I have never known of him having any projects other than Pantera, but I am probably wrong because I never looked into it.

Hopefully he keeps playing music somewhere.

Oh and the Pantera home videos are some of the funniest shit I have ever seen, you might like them even if you hate Pantera.
