Personally i think Pantera is a good band.
The 2 first albums before the guitarist took over really rock.

Far Beyond Driven and Vulgar Display of Power are fuckin' killer!! Phil's attitude really fucked things over for Dime and Vinnie and i hope (and pray) that New Found Power really fuckin' rules, but with those 2 plus a guest appearance by Zakk, you can't go wrong!!

Yes, well, sometimes things get worse before they get better.

It was more like Bryan Adams -> various country bands -> Matchbox 20 -> Everclear -> Metallica -> Godsmack -> Slipknot -> Good bands

And no, I'm not sure how I got from Everclear to Metallica. Or why I regressed from Metallica to Godsmack and Slipknot THEN got into good bands.
