yeh, thats how it started. venues put the black x to show you cant drink, then the hardcore kiddies thought it was cool and started showing up to the show with the stupid x's already drawn on. straight edge is silly.

the crowd there..theres a chick with glasses in it..i HAVE A CLONE! and the dude on the left looks like my boyfriend! we were there in spirit! great shots! i would expect no less from the Steph!

wow that means you got a tripplet! the whole show i thought she was my friend nancy from college. so i went up to her and asked she was nancy (she wouldn't recognize me since i got a beard and long hair now and haven't talked with her in 2 years), but yeah, her name's emily, same name as my sis... weird shit if u ask me. in the first pic posted you can see my hair/back of my head. i was diagonally in front of the b/f of that girl. i got a shit load of pics from there...
you won't see me there in other pics since i moved towards the back since i mostly saw hair, hands, and backs. i was pushed so much it was crazy, my arm still hurts from it. i'm a small dude so i just left didn't wanna be crushed by the like 400 pound guy behind me, at least he was nice and tried hard to not trample me lol. crazy show, completely unexpected too, the other bands the crowd was 100% tame. then nevermore comes on and they release that reserved energy.

I'm dying to know what ride cymbal Van was using at the Jaxx show. It appears to be an old Z Custom Megabell. Does anybody know for sure? Is it a Zildjian Z Custom Megabell? And is it a first generation model?

and what are the two small cymbals he has mounted in front of his rack toms? One of them in particular (the one i'm interested in) has a bell-sound. His double riding on the the ride and rack tom cymbal was awesome!

I hope somebody here knows the scoop!

I does look reaally a lot like it, so that would be a Z custom megabell.
I have no idea about it being a first generation model or not...
