I added these pictures to our website yesterday.

The first ones are of Riku's drums.

Our guitar-amps:
My Marshall VS100 head, the 4x12" 130W cabinet for it and my chorus- and delay-pedals.

Toni's Marshall JCM2000 head with my cabinet (Toni's own cabinet is custom-made 2x12" 'karvanoppa')

These are the equipment we used in the recording of our second demo. Tascam Model-38 8-track, Tascam M30 8-track mixer and some Sony stereos. The computer is my 486SX25 but it served no purpose in this recording. :D

Windom Pearl: Your gear is coming up as soon as our guitars... I try to work it out next week. I guess I shouldn't be so lazy...

Orchid: Approx. 6000€...

Yeah, perkele vittu saatana antakaa mulle rahaa...

edit:

People say money doesn't make you happy... maybe so, but what you can buy with the money surely does.

Yeah, I drank ALL the money for the 16-track and got the 8-track for free... It's damn useful even if old...

I could have got better shots of the drums, but there was no space to go longer...

Damn, nice gear guys!! I love the reel to reel, wish I had one....Too bad the tape is so damn expensive...On the demo, did you bounce tracks on the Tascam? You managed to get a great sound! I'm also interesed to know what kind of mics did you have/use.

And where are the guitar/bass pics! Blasphemy!

shit, does he hit that symbol hanging on the wall during songs?
:)

No, he hasn't got enough stands, so he has to take one symbal off at a time. That thing is a 22"(!) china and he also has a 18" china that sounds close, so...

To make sure we are talking about the same demo, the only song we have up on our mp3.com-page that was recorded with my ½" reel to reel is My Sanctuary In Solitude. And yes, we bounced tracks the following way: First we recorded the drums on five tracks and then we put the two distorted backing guitars and bass on the three unused tracks. Then we did the first mixing between these instruments and recorded the whole thing on a minidisc. Then we recorded contents of the minidisc on two tracks (right and left). After that we had space for 1-2 clean/acoustic-guitar-tracks, 1-2 solo-guitar-tracks and 2-3 vocal tracks depending on the songs. Then the final mixing and minidisc-recording. I think sounds could be much better with these equipments. I'm still learning the basics of recording and mixing. Time will tell...

I'm able to say only little of our microphones. We had my Shure 3.1 (mostly vocal or all-round-mic), Marko's vocal mic, one microphone I know very little about and two of my shitty 30$ basic 1/4"-plug-mics.

And what comes to guitars and basses, these were just the first shoots of our gear I took, and I'll be adding some more in the near-future... hopefully...

SWEET! I really can't say I know what’s up when it comes to drums, but that set looks killer! All those little splashes and...other things. That must have costs a fortune!

I clicked on the thread because I saw the name and it reminded me. I must have been playing that "Stretching Into Me Song" a lot without realizing it because this morning (like most mornings) I was getting ready for work and had a song in my head that I couldn't name at first and as I played it out in my head and the vocals came in I realized it was Farmakon.

Great song. :)

Oh........I thought this was about some other gears.......

*taps the desk few times, then quietly sneaks off..*

Maybe I should have put it more clearly, but I thought that the name 'Farmakon' would say enough if you're interested...

Sweeetah!!! Our song plays in someones head. Now we're getting somewhere. :D
I'm usually haunted by crappy tunes. Especially when I'm having a long walk to work without a walkman. :)

Oooooohhhhhhhh :Shedevil: God I hate you, this is the second time already

Honestly - I don't know...
One of them is an 8" china and 2 are regular splashes. I'll track the names for the rest tomorrow...

Ok. one of them is probably a ZIL-BEL around 9,5".
I'll try to figure the last one out also...
