Something like this?

Which ram?

I got a nice case/cdwriter and loads of gigs so i could just put that in there right? maybe a different cooler + psu?

And maybe this is even an option?:

ok motherboard - anything new and expensive that can hold a Socket-775 processor. check out www.dabs.com and do a search for socket 775 motherboards and pick a well priced one that supports quad's.

i think your asrock board should work fine.

for your ram check out www.crucial.com but the link you gave for ram all looks fine, i think it should work ok.

yea your writer should work fine and your hard drives should work fine. i would recommend buying a 120 fan for your cpu, its nice and quiet and works a treat compared to 80's. as for the psu, tot up the power needed by your board, cpu etc. you shouldn't need much about 350 watts. thats prob even too much. but get something decent if you plan to run shitloads of hardware from your pc

i would reccomend you invest in a graphics card. even a cheapish one, it will defintly remove strain off your processor and ram. look for a geforce 8400 gs, they have reasonable power, support hd video and can play most games at a medium quality. they are piss cheap and will defintly improve pc performance.

your board does support hd content etc but it will slow down your processor.

dont forget the more ram the faster your bitch shall run. your motherboard can take up to 8gb so clog it up with ram

Dude, before you do anything.. ask or PM Kev who is on this forum as well!
He can build you one for a really decent amount of cash, great specs for a great price.

I'm not quite sure what site to look at since I'm in the US, but I'd recommend avoiding nowthatsit for your motherboard. (They have a pretty terrible selection)

On that note, I'll link you to some components that I think are well worth your money. You can try to find them on a better european site, hopefully.

Motherboard - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128337

RAM (2GB) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148211
or
RAM (4GB) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145184

I'm guessing you're not a gamer, but a dedicated GPU (graphics card) will be a decent thing to have. Plus, they're cheap.

GPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145184

Power supply - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371019

Now, you can use your old disc drive and hard drives to cut costs, but that will only work if they are SATA drives. Make sure you find out before you order the parts for a computer and have no hard drive/disk drive.

try ebay and look for a prebuilt pc, they may look a little cheap but dont let that throw you off, alot of people in eastern europe and asia use cheapies from ebay and they all work perfect and they end up being pretty dam fast
