I guess I should get around to checking Minecraft out.
The more I hear about it, the more it sounds like what I've been searching for in a game.

This is pretty fucking amazing though. I look forward to seeing progress on this project.

I can't wrap my head around the the concept that the game has semiconductor simulation. Because there has to be some type of semiconductor material or process in the game for the whole thing to work.

There is a type of in-game material called "Redstone", it's behavior in the game allows the player to construct circuits and logic gates.
