this is just a rough mix i did for a friend's demo-project.
Please help me improve the sound.

What amps were used on the guitars? They sound really fuzzy and un-defined.

The vocals are too far back and too wet. Otherwise it sounds pretty good for a demo.

@Jackal: Here we go, i notched the fuzzy frequency a little.
Guitars are: POD XT 5150 and Treadplate Dual.

@Razor: Yeah i know the vocals are too thin but they are just guide vocals.



Maybe i should mention that i mixed this @home with el Cheapo Behringer Headphones(the famous HPS3000 and a über-cheap consumer dolby surround speaker set made of the cheapest plastic you can imagine.

But ...so what... you have to work with what you have...

not bad, needs more low end. the guits could use a bump in the 1-4k range
