I've been mixing for a few hour already so my ears might be lying to me here

I while ago I noticed that Podfarm had preamp sims (i guess thats what they are?), I don't really use Podfarm other than for recording scratch guitars but today I figure I'd try those sims. I accidentally dropped it on a vocal track instead of a lead track which was my original intention, I started fiddling and it actually doesn't sound terrible (to my tired ears)

Any thoughts?

I like the "Vintage UK", but most of the time I think all of them have too much "character/color", so I end up using Nasty VCS.

Saw some dudes on the Sturgis forum saying that they used the API eq on guitars as it boosts the mids and help tame the fizziness of the pod farm amps. Had a wee mess around and they seem not bad actually. As has been said there's a really obvious colour to each of them, so you could certainly throw it on some buses and flick through the different models to see if there's one that enhances your tracks.
