Poll: which amps to use in our recording?

Hey guy's!
My band nothing divine will soon record some new songs and we haven't really decided yet which amps to use.
So maybe you guy's have some tips of which amps go best together?

I think all 3 work, haven't heard much of that Framus so far...

Umm.. just record with one of them, capture the DIs, reamp through the other two, mix sumthin tasty. Voila!

I've never heard a Framus,so I've chosen Mesa+Peavey,but you can check Killswitch Engage's productions. I think they have all the possible combinations..

Try all of them and hear for yourselves which work best for your band. Trial and error is part of the production/engineering process...

Hahahahaaha, just voted, and am very gratified to see the results That said, though I really don't like the Cobra on its own, I've heard some good results with it blended, so I'd say give it a go! (but since it's a very high-mid voiced amp I think it'd blend much better with the Rectifier, which is low-mid voiced, rather than the 6505, which is somewhat high-mid voiced)

Although I did vote with everyone else, I HAVE heard cobra and 5150 together and to me it's a much more savage sounding duo.

So I think 6505 and cobra would sound great as well.

That combo is deadly.

The 5150 and Rectifier is more of like the "ol' just in case."

I was under the impression that they used Madison heads for recording. Maybe not for everything but blended with something else. Anyone?

Aside from that, go with the Rectumfrier and Peavey
