I think the snare definitely needs to be replaced to a tighter snap instead of the hollow sound. The cymbals and hi-hats need to be turned down and the guitars up. Vocals up too.

they also have that hollowy sounding snare but notice how their guitars, kick, and snare are in your face? I really think you need to boost the guitars...they are very hidden..

i hate a day to remember. haha also not really the style i would be going for in a mix like this.

i think ive gotten a little closer to a four year strong mix.

I think a few people will agree with you on that statement. It is definitely not a favorite of mine by any means, but i also asked for opinions on the mix.. not the music itself.
