Just recorded a pop punk band and wanted some input on the first mix.
Samples were used on the Kick 80% and the Snare 75% (the snare had too much hi-hat bleed in the track so I had to sample it) All other drums are natural.
Guitars were recorded with an Avatar cab with greenbacks and v30's through an Orange rockerverb 100, a Peavey Valveking, and a Egnator Tourmaster 4100. Sm57 and an AT4040.
