Porcupine Tree - Deadwing

I just got this CD and I absolutely love it, my favorite PT album so far.
Does anyone like it too? Opinions on it?

i think it's good but i like In Absentia a lot more. and Steven Wilson's other project Blackfield

Excellent album, I think it ranks with Signify and Stupid Dream as may favorite PT release...not a bad song on there (even the self-admitted big dumb rock song Shallow, lol), but for me the odd numbered tracks are all amazing.

I think it's my second favorite PT release, it's absolutely incredible. Not as incredible as In Absentia though, which is one of my favorite albums ever.

It's probably my favorite PT release. I love every song. It's such a dark, brooding, depressing album. "The Start Of Something Beautiful" is probably my favorite PT song ever. I love that smooth bass intro... the brilliant drumming... and the dynamics and tension in that song... great lyrics too... "The more I show the way I feel the less I feel you give a damn!"... and the piano section is beautiful.

Not as good as the previous two, but still a great album.
