POSSESSED - Seven Churches

i think 80's era Sepultura and Kreator can play in the same playground and produce kids with Down's Syndrome

I will say Kreator's latest outputs DESTROY Sepultura, without doubt. "Violent Revolution" is one of my all time faves.

But overall, Sepultura has THE triarchy: Schizo, BtR, and Arise.

There's not much in [brutal] thrash circles that beats BtR.

i love sepultura but both show no mercy - hell awaits - reign in blood and pleasure to kill - extreme aggression - coma of souls are VERY RESPECTABLE triarchies

I just really love Kreator... they haven't disapoint me and their last album
was great, unlike Sepultura who sucked for 10 years...(shit, more than that)

the last kreator disc, while competent was ultimatelly a snoozer ... they just tired to hard on it.
Violent Revolution on the other hand ... well ... see JK's previous post

Come on now, I think we can all agree that all the bands mentioned ruled INCREDIBLY when they were at the top of their game! In fact, they produced some of the best thrash ever born by mankind!

impossible!

both just kick ass.
Kreator win though.

But you know it all comes down to Beneath the Remains....it's untouchable.

If BtR went up against Reign in Blood, it would be a pay per view event!

BtR is definitely a timeless album.
But then you can think of Extreme Aggression or Pleasure to Kill
and how much they influenced the metal world,
and you can not compare.
hence my oroginal point.... uncomperable :D

I can see PTK and BTR neck to neck ... both fine pieces of honest youthful agression ...

but sorry RIB ... that is just ... well ... that's Graduate School stuff ... and everyone since never graduated

Look, everyone knows Slayer are playing the same solos over and over
and the same riffs...
but, reighn in Blood has a special place in my heart.
we all heard it back in the day and went: "HOLY SHIT"
and for that.... for that, this album deserve to be appreciated.

:kickass:

You mean when you were 6 years old? :tickled: Actually, my 4 year old dances about the place during "Phantom of the Opera" so I fully expect her to graduate to Slayer/Sepultura in 2 years time. :loco:
