Possible to trade in a macbook? Or should I sell it?

I have one of the older macbooks. Its a white one from about 3 years ago. Its upgrade with 4 gigs of ram but thats about the only upgrade it has. I wanna get one of the new macbook pros that just came out and am trying to figure out what will get me the most money for this one. Should I find a place that'll will take a trade in or should I just sell it on my own?

Scout the trade-ins, but you might get more for it on eBay or Craigslist.

Checked out ebay already and the highest priced one is about 600, and thats without the power supply and all that. I still have EVERYTHING, box,cables, manuals etc. So im sure I can get a few bucks more than what they are selling it for. Do you know anyone thats used the sites you showed me?

I'd say it's worth getting a quote from the first one - ifixit is a local company and my roommate works for them.

And yeah, if you've got all the original stuff then it will definitely go for more than something without a PSU.

Or as an alternative, you could try www.jonnycraigslist.com. I hear he's getting MacBooks to sell like hotcakes!
