New laptop + parting out old laptop = I have a few spare bits leftover.
I have RAM and a battery for early-2008 15" MacBook Pros, 2x2GB sticks PC2-5300 667mhz Kingston RAM and a Fastmac replacement battery from a year ago; holds about 3 hours of charge still.
I also have eSATA and USB cards in the Expresscard34 size; 1 card has 2 eSATA ports and the other has 2 USB ports.
