Post awesome game music here!

One of the tops from the series...

However, I am quite partial to the normal battle theme:

Why? Because I've heard about 20,000 times (serious).

Then there's Persona 4's battle theme:

Haven't heard it as much, BUT... enough that if I think about it, I can play the entire song in my head.

Now onto some more cool shit.

One of the few perfect games, Yakuza, had some SUPER FUCKING AWESOME music (providing to it's perfection):

As did it's sequel, the almost perfect Yakuza 2:

And Yakuza 3 (Which I happily imported because sega sucks and people suck for not buying Yakuza 1 and 2):

So simple, yet so fucking awesome.

Some of the coolest game music ever came from the Ys series...

Then there's Disgaea... GRINDAN!

of course, then there's THIS

Yeah, so it has it's down moments...

Lets go back to Atlus for a sec... Nocturne. Fuck-strange-awesome music this game had:

And then there's Digital Devil Saga... these 2 games had some cool music...

And a swing over to the Devil Summoner series (as I gently caress my Raiho plushie)

And yes. It looks like that. And I AM CARESSING GENTLY.

This post got way too long.

I'm impressed with your knowledge of all that is atlus. :headbang:

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I really dig the Dragon Age music.

Actually, all of Bioware's games I've played have pretty cool music.

The original of this is of the Touhou games, one of the few tracks made by IOSYS instead of ZUN, and like all IOSYS tracks, hated by the community (apparently) for being too kawaiii and light-hearted, as opposed to ZUN's darker, more intense music. A band called SSH made a rearrangement of the original cutesy kawaiiiii track and turned into something that's creepy in the beginning, and then begins to simply kick your ass.

The guy who uploaded this has over 200 of those Touhou arrangements online. I'm downloading them all, at 80/200 right now

I actually enjoyed this.

I must say, the Battlefield Bad Company 2 music took me by suprise, I found it quite excellent. Not everyone's cup of tea, but in my opinion very well made <3

That was pretty cool. And part of me hates that I think it was.

So how does this thread not have any Koji Kondo? Ocarina of Time was a great soundtrack (as were most of the Zelda OSTs, but that's one of my faves... shit, I actually own a real ocarina now).

Video game OSTs that rock aside from Uematsu and Kondo contributions off the top of my head:

Shadow of the Colossus
Secret of Mana

Uh...damn. I'm drawing a blank. I'll come back to this later. In the meantime, while we're on the subject of Zelda and awesome music:
