People still use 800x600?
Yes. The larger screen size makes more words show up at the same time. It hurts my brain. :loco:

My current wallpaper is a Sentenced one from the official site.

 Okay... here comes the story:

My friend Stephen was moving out of his shit house finally into a nice apartment, so he had a little gathering in it before it actually had electricity, running water, or furniture. As a joke, this fellow Josh took some metamucil and a handful of weird pills (nothing illegal) and presented it to Steve as a house-warming gift. This might not seem funny, but it was hilarious at the moment, and I figured some of you were wondering.

Best Part: One of the girls there threw it out of the window and his dog ended up eating it... with not many ill side effects.

I run a plain blue screen in the background. Since I'm never sitting at my PC, staring at my desktop, it's not like I'd see it anyway. Using a graphically intense wallpaper diminishes resources and slows your PC.

Yeah. 58 K of, what 524 288 (512 M, common today)...? Checked how much shit your operating system starts in the background recently? Hint: it's several tens of megabytes, and let's not get into virus protection, firewalls and whatever other shit the poor Windows users have to run these days to feel safe... A wallpaper ain't going to make a difference. AT ALL. ;)

I know, it's fucking disgusting. I remember the days when all I needed running was Explorer and Systray. Now I have no fucking clue what half this shit is.

Erik, don't peddle Linux here, no one cares.

Nah, just kidding. Most of us are too lazy to switch, though.
