My 2 cents, meant as constructive criticism. I think the concept is awesome, execution is almost there. I think the CG is a bit outdated... it reminds me of Maiden's "Dance of Death" cover which should have been better.

Overall, awesome idea, and with a bit of work it could be ridiculously badass!! Also, note that I am not an artist in the visual sense. Cheers!

Yes, my only point was that the figure itself looked much like the naked chick on the cover.

The ornamentation around said figure is amazing and gives the piece a really great feel. Again, awesome concept!!

Actually, the concept of the figure means a bit more than the one in Dance of Death. The movements of both hands mean something (he told me, nt sure wt it is) . And the funny thing is I was asked for a name for it AFTER it was completed. And The Witching Hour sounded perfect to me.

Maybe I'll go raid my stash of stuff from school and post some. I recall in an architecture class I drew the Physics/Chemistry/Math buildings at Texas Tech with the Taj Mahal in the middle where the Physic building was supposed to be. I can't recall that assignment though...
