I had those Maiden issues, not sure why I ever got rid of them, but I had the boxset so did not lose anything I guess. Still keeping them does sound like me.
This is what I am "allowed" to have out in the open The rest is in my musicroom and in boxes here and there all over the house. I try to keep my "livingroom-collection" as varied as possible to accomodate both my own and my wife's tastes. When I'm in the mood for some Marduk I usually head upstairs into solitary confinement haha Kreator and such is okay downstairs as well though Oh yeah, I AM whipped

Those are 6 towers holding approximately 190 cds a piece. So about 1140 in total. IKEA style for this Swede
Ah, I see it now. Do they bolt together? Because I could see that not working too well on a carpeted floor.
IKEA makes some surprisingly nice stuff. I always wreck my hands assembling it though.
nice setup! I am working on building new shelves as my collection is getting booted from the closet.
I am jealous about how nice all of these set ups are. I can never seem get organized.
Its always been my opinion that its quality over quantity. What good is having a ton of cds if you dont like them?

I think most people here would agree. I'm pretty demanding about what gets to stay on my shelves, and yet I have 3500 CDs.
