Post your favorite TGE Track

Born, followed closely by Sentient 6 and the title track. Medicated Nation is a close follow up for it's simple brutality.

okay, so on sell my heart for stones...

I guess its mainly the lyrics, which are not warrel's greatest:

"Did you ever wonder why the wind blows"
or
"Did you ever wonder why they have all gone away
Did you ever realize that nothing changes, everything stays the same"
Sorta cliche and melodramatic and dont stand up to most of warrel's lyrics... i guess they just bother me enough to not like the song
Though i will admit, i like the part around 3:30

i like 'em. makes me misty.

I dont believe these are WD's lyrics. I remember reading an interview somewhere that this one was written by Steve. I could be wrong though. Either way, its not my favorite, but not a bad song by any means.

i heard that too, but i assumed it meant that Steve wrote the music, not the lyrics, as Warrel usually writes the lyrics

Since the album is really fucking good i have to rank the songs.

1. This Godless Endeavor
2. Sentient 6
3. A Future Uncertain
4. Sell My Heart For Stones
5. Psalm of Lydia
6. Born
7. The Final Product
8. Bittersweet Feast
9. My Acid Words
10. Medicated Nation

Been playing "Acid Words" nonstop the last few days...the chorus just keeps playing in my head.

Overall "Psalm of Lydia" seems to deliver everything I was hoping for !!!
