You already had Twilight of the Idols, right? *wink, wink* IMO of the two I have, Idols is far superior. Traveller was...'meh.' However, new album should be out soonish

I still need to get Deadmen and the s/t...badly.

Nope. First one for me. I've been looking for one of their CDs ever since I read the interview in LotFP. Of course, having no idea what their music sounded like, I only was going to buy one CD. I'm disappointed. I should have bought the other one that The End had on hand.

I'm really glad I finally got it though, and now I know that I can get others at The End.

Does Twilight of the Idols have a similar sound or is it drastically different? If so, how?

It's pretty different. Traveller was a lot more plain heavy metal. Idols has a ton of classic influences, but also a lot of folky/celtic melodies as well. Idols is...bouncier? More catchy, certainly. Some of those songs you just cannot get out of your head. If you have AIM, drop me a line and I'll send you a few tracks so you can get an idea of the difference. Actually, Traveller reminded me more of Hammers of Misfortune than of Idols (in the slower, not folky sense). I hear that Down Among the Deadmen has a similar sound to Idols as well. My AIM is beautifulali, if you're interested.

As for picking up their other CDs, you can get them from the Slough Feg website, or from Aquarius Records (store in SF, but they have mail-order).
