Hordanes Land is worthwhile, it's the EP they made into a split with Emperor and it's among their best work.

It's only 3 songs, but it stretches a half hour. As GoD said, it's among their best work. The Vikingligr Veldi/Hordanes Land split is a great value unless you really really want the original.

I've had them downloaded for years. Do not question my 1337ness, oh great Jewfro'd one. Also, Fragments... is a little better than Into The Macabre, but both are good. I haven't listened to Mater... yet, but I have it downloaded, so I'll listen to it right now and get back to you...

EDIT: It really depends on your mood. Obviously the earlier stuff is more Old-School, so if you want Old-School, the first two would be better IMO.
