So I'm thinking about collecting albums. For the longest I've just bought a few I really really liked and downloading the rest. My buddy keeps telling me to buy vinyls instead for the audio and collectable quality, but it just seems like it can create huge gaps in your collection of vinyls that simply arent pressed or are rather rare and go for quite a bit.

For example, two I'd like to have... Of Stone, Wind and Pillor (I don't think it even exists, the CD alone runs around $100) and Dead as Dreams (Vinyl seems to go for a few hundred due to limited editions) It would definitely be cooler to have a vinyl collection, but strictly looking at it practically I don't think I can justify going Vinyl.


Anyway, for CDs I'm probably going to start with one big order of albums I really need and work from there...
