Good luck. I bought one of those a while back and it was a shitfest. A couple decent crust bands and a Bongzilla album were the only passable albums.

I actually like the new album the least of the three albums I have. Existence is Futile is their best one in my opinion of what I've heard. My girlfriend likes Chaos of Forms the best but I haven't had a chance to go in depth with that one yet.

i haven't listened to it yet, i've kind of been on the move for the past week or so. I know you said you only spun it once, but how does it compare to their last two so far?

It's been a few months since I listened that first time, but I remember liking Sun God > Nucleus > new one. Although I know the new one is a concept album so it'll likely take a couple listens for me to "get", like a prog album. Then again, so was Sun God and I liked that immediately. *shrug*

Push comes to shove, I would give the same answer. Peart perfectly merges the philosophical and personal dimensions of his writing. The songs are catchy, yet are full of depth and texture.
